What: Awana is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekly clubs and programs. The acrostic AWANA comes from the first letters of “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Tim. 2:15).
Why: Awana’s goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him. Awana motivates children to come to church, where they can accept Christ as Saviour and learn to live for Him. Clubbers learn the Word of God through Bible memorization and other Bible-based achievements.
Who: Children age 3 to grade 7 are welcome to join:
• Cubbies (ages 3 and 4)
• Sparks (Grades K,1 and 2)
• T&T (Grade 3 to 6)
• Trek (Grade 7)
