Light the Way

2020 has turned out to be a very unexpected year, but it does not change the hope Christmas and Jesus brings! This year we are going to try something a little different to celebrate and bring a bit of joy to our community.

We invite you and those in your household to join us in a car parade. Please decorate your cars (rules outlined below) and we will make our way through South Vancouver to “Light the Way” for the season with carols and prayers over our city.

Once we know how many cars to expect, we will announce the final dates and times. Possible dates may be December 18, 19, 20 or 23. It will likely be an approximately 30-minute route between the hours of 5pm – 7pm. More specific details will be emailed to you.

RULES:

• no strobing or flickering lights
• no red and blue lights in a pattern that might cause confusion with an emergency vehicle
• do not exit your vehicles to mingle at any time during this parade
